XXV GRADUATION CEREMONY of our College was held on 23rd JUNE 2017, Friday at 10.00 a.m. at SNR Auditorium, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Sciences. Dr.T.K. Ravi, Principal, College of Pharmacy, Welcomed the gathering. Shri.V.Ramakrishna, Chief Operating Officer, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, has presided over the function. Dr.M.N.A.Rao, General Manager (R&D), Divis Laboratories, Hyderabad was the Chief Guest. A total number of 215 graduates received the graduation certificate.

NEC 2017 State round winner

Ms. Drizzle M. Babu, studying Pharm. D. (Post Baccalaureate) had represented our institution and participated in the Indian Pharmaceutical Association’s Education Division’s National Elocution Competition – 2017(NEC-2017) and won First Place in the state round competition held at Vinayaka Mission’s College of Pharmacy, Vinayak Mission’s University, Salem on 15-11-2017. She has been selected for the semi-final round competition that is to be held at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, in the first week of December, 2017.

Gift Organ Give Life - Guinness World Record

Guinness World Record Sri Ramakrishna Hospital has created a New Guinness World Record in record attempt for most people to sign as organ donors in 8 hours. The attempt was completed on 19-03-2016 Saturday at SNR Sons College Ground between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m with record count 13439 registered donors. Staffs and students of College of Pharmacy were actively participated in the event and registered as organ donors.

Red Ribbon Club Program Officers & Peer Leaders Training Program

The Red Ribbon Club Program Officers & Peer Leaders Training Program proposed by the Tamil Nadu State Aids Control Society, Chennai (TANSACS) was conducted by College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore, as scheduled by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University, Chennai for the CoimbatoreZone on 06.02.2018. Out of 21collegesin the zone, 16 colleges had participated in the said training program. Resourcepersons from TANSACS and DAPCU of Coimbatoredistrict had participated in the training program. The session had started after a refreshment. The program had started with a formal inauguration, where the principal of our institution Dr. T. K. Ravi had presided over the function and the Dr. Karthick, Joint Director, Youth Affairs, TANSACS, Chennai and Mr. RVM Kumanan, Coordinator of District Aids Control and Prevention Unit (DAPCU) of Coimbatore had also participated. The RRC program officer & the training program Coordinator Dr. Rajalingam. B., had welcomed the gathering. The pre-lunch training sessions started with Dr. Karthick’s talk about the basic functioning of a red ribbon club (RRC) followed by Mr. RVM Kumanan’s talk about the roles & responsibilities of DAPCU and it functions. In the post lunch session, Mr. Arivalagan, a counsellor from DAPCU, Coimbatore and Mr.Mohanraj from a hospital had spoken on the various issues on HIV & AIDS. At the end the session one HIV positive speaker and another care taker of HIV positive patient had shared their views. The training program ended with vote of thanks by Dr. M. Gopal Rao, Vice- Principal, College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore.
